Walter II von Hochschlitz (* around 1320 - † October 4, 1369 in Mindelheim ) was Bishop of Augsburg from 1365 to 1369.

On his appointment, the bishop gave up the ownership claims of Mindelburg and the city of Mindelheim , which he had acquired shortly before in 1363 together with his uncle Heinrich von Hochschlitz. In 1365 they sold the properties again and handed them over to Duke Friedrich von Teck for interest-free management during the sale . This then refused to surrender the property, so that Walter II von Hochschlitz demanded the surrender by force of arms. Duke Teck's supporter, Count von Werdenberg , hit the bishop with an arrow on October 4, 1369, whereupon he died.

The bishop's grave slab is located in the north transept of Augsburg Cathedral .
