Eberhard Marx (Designer)
Eberhard Marx (born October 5, 1951 in Dresden ) is a German designer , painter and graphic artist. He is a member of the BBK Rhineland-Palatinate .
Live and act
After an apprenticeship and work as a ship electrician, he completed his studies at the College of Applied Arts in Heiligendamm from 1983 . After graduating as a designer in 1986, he worked in a leading position in industry (VEB Solidor Dresden, VEB Designprojekt Dresden - later Designprojekt GmbH Dresden). A correspondence course from 1987 to 1993 at the University of Industrial Design / Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle with Winfried Baumberger followed by a degree in designer.
He then worked as a designer and co-owner of a design office in Dresden. Some of his works have been awarded national prizes (including the Design Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany , the Saxon State Prize for Design ) and international design prizes (Prize of the KIDP Republic of Korea).
Since separating from Designprojekt GmbH Dresden in April 2002, he has been exclusively self-employed. Since 2005 Marx lives and works as a designer, painter and graphic artist in Rhineland-Palatinate. He regularly participates in national and international exhibitions with products and paintings. Since 2013 he has mainly worked as a painter and graphic artist. His work is present in galleries at home and abroad.
