Edgar Mountain
Edgar Mountain ( Edgar Donald Mountain; born April 2, 1901 in Camberwell , † April 30, 1985 in Grahamstown , South Africa ) was a British middle -distance runner who had specialized in the 800-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games he was fifth in Antwerp in 1920 and reached the semi-finals in Paris in 1924 .
In 1921 and 1922 he became English champion over 880 yards . He set his personal best of 1: 54.3 minutes on September 21, 1921 in Stockholm .
