The Hannbaumbach is a brook in Lower Austria and Vienna . It is a feeder of the Mauerbach .

The Hannbaumbach has a length of 1340 m with a height difference of 151 m. Its catchment area is 0.2 km².

Almost along its entire length, the stream forms the border between Lower Austria and Vienna, between the market town of Mauerbach and the Augustinerwald settlement , which belongs to the Hadersdorf district of Vienna's 14th district of Penzing . It runs along Hannbaumstrasse and finally flows into the Mauerbach on the right at Hohe-Wand-Gasse.

There is a low risk of flooding at the Hannbaumbach. In the event of a flood of the century , infrastructure is affected to a lesser extent, but no resident population.
