Edgar Towers Skyvoid is a skyscraper construction project in New York City . The building project designed by the architects IwamotoScott Architecture was presented to the public in May 2010. The slightly spiral-shaped tower is said to stand out from New York's skyline at a height of 396 meters (1300  feet ). It would probably be the fourth highest in New York , after the One World Trade Center (541 meters), 432 Park Avenue (426 meters) and the Two World Trade Center (411 meters). It would also exceed the Empire State Building by 15 meters (381 meters, but 443 meters with the antenna). The 70 floors of the building are to be used for multiple purposes. New construction methods are intended to make the building particularly environmentally friendly. The construction site for the tower is in the southern part of Lower Manhattan on Greenwich Street and Edgar Street . Currently (as of 2013), potential investors and tenants are still being sought, so there is no specific date for completion.
