Edmond Bruce
Edmond Bruce (born September 28, 1899 in St. Louis , † November 28, 1973 in Plainfield , New Jersey ) was an American electrical engineer .
Together with Harald Friis he invented the rhombus antenna . In 1932 he won the Morris N. Liebmann Memorial Award from the Institute of Radio Engineers and in 1935 the Longstreth Award from the Franklin Institute .
