Eduard Freudenberg
Eduard Freudenberg (* 1808 in Neuwied ; † 1865 ) was a German genre and portrait painter .
From 1825 Freudenberg studied painting at the Royal Saxon Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden . In 1828 he was awarded a certificate of praise in his third year of study. He then worked as a portrait painter in Neuwied.
From August 4, 1831, he continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich . Then he stayed in Munich and dealt with genre painting from the Bavarian milieu.
In 1852 he came to Rome and became a member of the German Artists' Association , of which he can be verified until June 1855.
