Eduard Friedrich Ludwig von Gemmingen (born December 29, 1807 in Bonfeld , † June 7, 1846 in Lichtental ) was the Grand Ducal Baden chamberlain and lord of the castle in Bonfeld's upper castle .

Life

He was the youngest son of the manor owner Karl Philipp von Gemmingen (1771-1831) from his second marriage to Eberhardine Christiane von Degenfeld- Neuhaus (1773-1847). He attended the schools in Brackenheim and Nuremberg and entered the military service in Württemberg, but then switched to military service in Baden. He became chamberlain for the Grand Duke of Baden and devoted himself to managing his estates in Bonfeld. He died on the occasion of a spa stay in Lichtental and was also buried there. After his early death, his brother Karl Weiprecht Reinhard (1797–1882) gave up his Saxon-Meiningen offices and took over the management of the goods in Bonfeld.

In 1834 he married Luise von Gemmingen-Hornberg (1812–1849), a daughter of Sigmund von Gemmingen-Hornberg zu Treschklingen .
