Eduard Friedrich Theodor Wilhelm Goecker (born May 2, 1848 in Holtrup , † May 1, 1931 in Gütersloh ) was a German pastor.

Eduard Goecker was born in Holtrup near Minden in 1848 as the son of the local pastor. After his first lessons with his father, he attended grammar school in Gütersloh from 1861 to graduation in 1867. He then studied theology at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . There he was in 1867 a member of the connection and later fraternity Holzminda . For the Franco-Prussian War he interrupted his studies in 1870 and served as a war volunteer in Minden with the local Infantry Regiment No. 15 , with which he was involved in the siege of Metz , among other things . After the war, he completed the theological exams at the University of Münster and subsequently became head of the Rector's School in Lübbecke . In the summer of 1874 he was elected pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Wetter an der Ruhr , where he worked for 43 years until his retirement in 1917. He founded numerous associations and had a new parish hall and a new church built. In addition, he worked for a long time as a district school inspector. From 1917 he retired in Bielefeld and later in Gütersloh, where he died in 1931.
