Eduard Hüsgen
Eduard Hüsgen (born October 3, 1848 in Weißenberg near Neuss , † October 20, 1912 in Düsseldorf ) was a co-founder and, since 1909, chairman of the Augustinus Association for the Care of the Catholic Press. During the Kulturkampf in 1871, Hüsgen was dismissed from the judicial service in Prussia because he worked for the center's own newspaper. Later, in 1907, he presented a biography of the long-time chairman of the party, Ludwig Windthorst .
