Eduard Hula
Eduard Hula (born September 25, 1862 in Prague , † September 26, 1902 in Vienna ) was an Austrian classical archaeologist .
Hula studied classical philology, archeology and epigraphy at the University of Vienna . He then worked for ten years as a grammar school teacher of ancient languages in Brno and Vienna. In addition to this activity, he dealt intensively with archeology and undertook study trips to Italy, Greece and Asia Minor, partly on behalf of the Imperial Academy of Sciences . On August 1, 1901, he was appointed secretary of the Austrian Archaeological Institute . A year later he died after a long illness. He was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery .
