Eduard Jantos

Eduard Erwin Jantos (born April 11, 1953 in Wolferode ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and is a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

Eduard Jantos attended the Polytechnic High School from 1959 to 1969 . Then from 1969 to 1971 he trained as a fitter and then worked as a puller in the Hettstedt rolling mill in 1971 and 1972.

Between 1972 and 1974 Jantos served in the NVA . He then worked from 1974 to 1976 as a clerk in the city council of Eisleben. From 1975 to 1980 he studied at a technical college in Weimar . Between 1976 and 1981 he was deputy head of department in the city council of Eisleben. From 1981 to 2011 and from 2016 to 2018 Eduard Jantos was managing director of the CDU district association Mansfelder Land.

Jantos is Catholic, married and has four children.

Eduard Jantos had been a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany since 1971 . From 1990 to 1994 he was the deputy chairman of the CDU in Eisleben. Since 1994 he has been a member of the Lutherstadt Eisleben city ​​council and since 1999 a member of the Mansfelder Land district council . From the 4th electoral term, Jantos was an elected member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via the CDU state list. There he was a member of the Social Committee.
