Eduard Nöth (born September 7, 1949 in Forchheim ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

education and profession

After graduating from the Humanistic Gymnasium Forchheim, Nöth studied economics and geography (teaching post at secondary schools) at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1969 to 1973 . From 1973 to 1998 he worked as a student trainee, teacher and seminar teacher for economics at secondary schools in Munich, Coburg and Forchheim.

Nöth is married and has two children. Since 1969 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Gothia Erlangen in the CV .

Political party

Nöth became a member of the Junge Union (JU) , CSU member since 1969. From 1977 to 1991 he was CSU local chairman, from 1999 to 2009 CSU district chairman.

MP

Eduard Nöth was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1998 to 2013 . He is a member of the Education, Youth and Sport Committee, the Public Service Committee, and the Council of Elders.

He represents the constituency of Forchheim ( constituency of Upper Franconia ) in the state parliament.

After it became known in the context of the " family affair " that Mr. Nöth had not only hired his wife, but also his two daughters as marginal employees for his parliamentary office in Forchheim, he withdrew his candidacy for the 2013 state election. His picture forger affair, which had become known only a few weeks earlier, did the rest.

Public offices

He has been city councilor in Forchheim since 1972, deputy mayor from 1984 to 1990, and since 1990 district councilor in the Forchheim district council. He is also a member of the Broadcasting Council of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation and a member of the association of Sparkasse Forchheim.
