Eduard Draw (writer)

Eduardzug (born October 29, 1819 in Tostedt , † October 19, 1884 in Frankfurt am Main ; pseudonym Eduard Ellersberg ) was a German writer .

Draw studied theology and philology at the Universities of Göttingen and Bonn . From 1844 to 1848 he was a private tutor in the family of the Hanoverian ambassador to the Bundestag , von Lenthe , in Frankfurt am Main . He then lived there as a private scholar, from 1855 until the annexation of the Free City of Frankfurt by Prussia as editor of the Frankfurter Postzeitung .

He is the father of the psychiatrist and philosopher Theodor Draw (1862-1950), the educator Julius Draw (1864-1925) and the philologist Ludwig Draw (1871-1949).
