Ludwig Drag

Ludwig Draw (born January 7, 1871 in Frankfurt am Main , † May 1949 in Roitzsch , Bitterfeld district , Saxony-Anhalt ) was a German teacher and classical philologist .

Life

Ludwig Draw was born as the third son of the writer Eduard Draw . His older brothers are the psychiatrist and philosopher Theodor Draw and the educator Julius Draw . In 1893 he received his doctorate from the University of Bonn .

In 1897 he became a senior teacher at the Goethe-Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main (1901–1906 on leave as a prince educator in Plön ). From 1911 to 1916 he was director of the cathedral grammar school in Merseburg . From 1916 to 1934 he was senior director of the knight academy in Brandenburg an der Havel and thus also a member of the Brandenburg Cathedral Chapter . In 1932 he became a member of the NSDAP .
