Eduard von der Brelie

Eduard von der Brelie (born February 14, 1817 in Winsen an der Aller , † December 20, 1891 there ) was a German businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Brelie attended private schools and the Polytechnic in Hanover . From 1833 he worked in his father's business in Winsen and from 1841 owner of the company of his name. From 1846 to 1866 he was chairman of the municipality of Winsen and from 1856 to 1866 a member of the 2nd Hanover Chamber. In 1866 he was appointed to Berlin as a shop steward, where he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1867 to 1877 and from 1882 to 1888 . From 1854 he was a member of the Lüneburg provincial landscape in Celle , where he was also a committee member. From 1864 he was a board member of the savings and loan fund for the offices of Celle and Bergen .

From 1877 to 1878 and from 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party and the constituency of the Province of Hanover 14 (Celle, Gifhorn ).
