Eduardo Patricio Iturrizaga Bonelli (born November 1, 1989 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan chess player .
He won the Venezuelan individual championship five times: 2005 to 2008 and 2019. He played for Venezuela in eight chess Olympiads : 2004 to 2018 , winning the individual bronze medal at the 2006 Chess Olympiad on the second board.
At the 2007 World Chess Cup he failed in the first round to Pyotr Swidler , at the 2009 World Chess Cup he defeated Sergey Tiviakov in the first round and he was eliminated in the second round against Baadur Dschobawa , at the 2013 World Chess Cup he failed in the first Round to Alexander Onischuk , at the 2015 World Chess Cup he also failed in the first round to Maxim Rodshtein .
In Germany he played in the Bundesliga for DJK Aufwärts St. Josef Aachen in 1920 ( 2016/17 and 2017/18 ).
In Spain he played for CA Equigoma-Casa Social Católica and CA Collado Villalba .
With its highest Elo rating of 2673 he was in March 2017 number 72 of the FIDE world ranking.
