- ↑ In some publications (including Marks: Heroes in Hoops; Harris: Arsenal Who's Who and Litster: A record of pre-war Scottish League players v2) Anderson and the Scottish player of the same name Edward Anderson (1879-1952) are rated as one person. Alex White (The Men Who Made Fulham Football Club) contradicts this, u. a. Anderson finds mention in a game report by Willington in February 1904 (see game report in the Jarrow Express of February 12, 1904), in the same period an Edward Anderson also played games at Fulham.
