Edward R. Robinson

Edward Ray Robinson (born July 24, 1893 in Los Angeles , California , † April 27, 1979 ) was an American art director and production designer who was nominated for an Oscar for best production design at the Academy Awards in 1943 .

Life

Robinson began his career as an art director and production designer in the Hollywood film industry in 1942 for films such as Invisible Agent and The Spoilers . For stage equipment of this by Ray Enright with Marlene Dietrich , Randolph Scott and John Wayne staged black and white - Western he got together with John B. Goodman , Jack Otterson and Russell A. Gausman his Oscar nomination for Best Production Design.
