Edyta Jasińska (born November 28, 1986 in Lubań ) is a former Polish cyclist who competed in races on track and road .
Athletic career
Edyta Jasińska has been a permanent member of the Polish pursuit team since 2010 . In 2012 she became vice European champion in the team pursuit together with Katarzyna Pawłowska and Eugenia Bujak , and the following year the Polish team repeated this success with Jasińska, Pawłowska, Bujak and Małgorzata Wojtyra . At the UEC European Rail Championships in 2015 , the Polish women's four came fourth.
In 2016 Jasińska was nominated for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she also started in the team pursuit, but the Polish foursome was disqualified. The following year she ended her sporting career. Later, she became active again in cycling, as a pilot in the Para Cycling by Angelika Biedrzycka . At the UCI Paracycling World Championships in 2020 , she won silver in the tandem sprint with the Greek team .
