Eén is a Belgian television broadcaster in Dutch and is hosted by the Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT). The channel focuses exclusively on the Flanders and Brussels-Capital regions .

Eén is the oldest and, since the 1990s, also the largest TV station in Flanders. The sender's logo uses the lower case of the name, één, which means “one” in German and has been in use since 2005. The station was previously called TV1 .

For years, Eén lagged behind the commercial competition vtm . In the 1990s, however, the station was able to make a name for itself with extensive in-house productions and the purchase of attractive foreign series and feature films, and won back viewers.

Due to Flemish media law, the VRT is not allowed to send advertising on Eén, Ketnet or Canvas - but individual programs may be supported by sponsors.

As is usual in the Dutch-speaking area, with the exception of children's programs, foreign programs are broadcast in their original language with subtitles. Eén also subtitles programs from the Netherlands or even in-house productions if the local dialect used is too strong.
