Efailnewydd is a small town on the Lleyn Peninsula ( Pen Llŷn ) in County Gwynedd , Wales . The place belongs to the large municipality of Llannor and is located in a rural area between fields and woodland 2 km northwest of Pwllheli in the direction of Nefyn . There is a small shop and a popular children's sports field in the center of the village, and Efailnewydd is also the seat of the Pwllheli Rugby Club . This is also where the playing field and the club house are located. There is a large paintball area at Snowdonia about an hour's drive away .

The destroyed Eglwys Boduan Church was rebuilt by the Wynne family.

A hillfort called Garn Boduan is located on Mynydd Tir-y-cwmwd , a terrain demolition in the immediate vicinity of the village.
