The ivy cave near Deutschfeistritz is 498 m above sea level. A. im Kugelstein north of the main town of Deutschfeistritz and south of Badl , Styria in Austria .
location
The ivy cave is located on the eastern slope of the Kugelstein, north of Kugelsteinhöhle III , not far from the municipal boundary between Deutschfeistritz and Frohnleiten . The access to the cave is in a rock wall, a little below the plateau edge of the globular stone and can only be reached by climbing.
description
The approximately 6 meter long ivy cave has two entrances overgrown with ivy , which look like rock niches when viewed from the foot of the rock face. The two entrances are connected by a low corridor about 3.2 meters long and 0.7 to 1 meter wide.
The rocky cave floor is only covered with cave clay in a few places.
