Efraín Santibáñez
Efraín Santibáñez ( Efraín Santibáñez Schilling; * unknown;) was a Chilean athlete.
Career
Santibáñez participated several times in the South American Athletics Championships in the javelin discipline and was also able to win the title of South American champion three times. Overall, he was able to achieve the following successes in his career:
- 1931 : 2nd place (unofficial event)
- 1933 : South American Champion
- 1935 : South American champion
- 1941 : 3rd place
- 1945 : 2nd place
- 1946 : South American Champion (unofficial event)
- 1947 : 3rd place
- 1949 : 3rd place
In his honor, the Copiapó athletics club bears the name Asociación Atlética Efraín Santibáñez Schilling.
