Eggberge (or Eggbergen ) is a hamlet in the municipality of Altdorf in the canton of Uri in Switzerland .

Eggberge is located above Altdorf on a south-west facing terrace below Rophaien ( 2077  m above sea level ) and Schön Chulm ( 2018  m above sea level ) at the entrance to the Schächental . The Flüelen-Eggberge cable car , whose valley station is on the northern edge of the Altdorf community and not in Flüelen , connects the hamlet with the canton's capital.

The hamlet of Eggberge, which has its own chapel, is, among other things, the starting point (or destination) for the Schächentaler Höhenweg hike .
