Harrow (heraldry)
The harrow as an agricultural tool has also found its place in heraldry as a heraldic figure . A grid square or grid triangle is shown with more or less long metallic thorns at the grid crossing points. A preferred color cannot be determined. The heraldic figure resembles the rust of St. Laurentius . The representation of the harrow is often used as a reference to agriculture that has shaped the city or town.
According to Oswald, the harrow is also suitable for a talking coat of arms . The Eggers and Ämilius are mentioned here.
