Lehnsgraf Eggert Christopher Knuth-Knuthenborg (born October 29, 1838 on Knuthenborg ; † October 18, 1874 ) was a Danish squire.

Knuth was born in 1838 as the son of Frederik Marcus Knuth , the first Danish Foreign Minister, and Karen Knuth, née Rothe, into the Knuth family of counts . In 1856, after the death of his father, Knuth became head of the family and thus Count von Knuthenborg. He had a brief diplomatic career as attaché , chamberlain and court hunter master .

Knuth is the creator of the Knuthenborg as it still looks today. Advised by the English landscape architect Edward Milner, he brought rare plants from all over the world to the estate. The architects HS Sibbern and Vilhelm Tvede were responsible for the many historicizing buildings.

Knuth never married and died childless. He is buried in the Hunseby Kirke cemetery. His younger brother Adam Wilhelm Knuth followed him as liege Count of Knuthenborg.
