Egholm is a small uninhabited (as of January 1, 2009) Danish island in the Little Belt, immediately northwest of the island of Bågø . It belongs to the parish community ( Danish : Sogn ) Bågø Sogn , which belonged to Harde Båg Herred in the former Odense office until the Danish municipal reform of 1970 , then to the Assens municipality in the former Fyns office . which became part of the expanded Assens municipality in the Syddanmark region with the next Danish municipal reform in 2007 .
