Egisholz
Egisholz is a suburb of the Kandern district of Wollbach in the district of Lörrach ( Baden-Württemberg ).
With a population of almost 100 people, Egisholz is the smallest suburb of Wollbach. It is around three kilometers south of Kandern and around two kilometers north of Wollbach.
Egisholz was first mentioned in 1465 in a tax census letter to the official tax meter Friedrich Ernst from St. Blasien as a "small collection of huts" and later known as "Aegisholz".
With the incorporation of the municipality of Wollbach, Egisholz came to the city of Kandern on March 1, 1974.
