Egmont Village is a small settlement in the New Plymouth District of the Taranaki regionon the North Island of New Zealand .
geography
Egmont Village is located around 12 km southeast of New Plymouth and around 6 km west of Inglewood in the northeastern slopes of Mount Taranaki . The Waiwhakaiho River runs west and the Mangaoraka Stream east of the town.

In the 2013 census, the town had 594 inhabitants, 23.0% more than in the 2006 census.

The New Zealand State Highway 3 runs right through the town and connects it with Inglewood and New Plymouth . Numerous access roads lead up to Mount Taranaki and serve as access for hiking tours.

The Egmont Village School is a primary school with 125 students in 2014.
