Egon Lutz

Egon Lutz (born January 16, 1934 in Bayreuth ; † September 5, 2011 in Oldenburg ) was a German social democratic politician . The trained typesetter and editor was a member of the German Bundestag from the 7th up to and including the 11th electoral term . Lutz represented the constituency of Nuremberg-South .

Life

Lutz completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter from 1949 to 1952. He then worked from 1952 to 1956 at the Munich publishing house GJ Manz . He was involved in the IG Druck und Papier , where he became youth secretary and then editor-in-chief . In 1965 he became head of the "Interior" department at the Nürnberger Nachrichten . In 1972 Egon Lutz gave up this task and became a member of the Bundestag, of which he was a member until 1990.

Lutz became known to the public through his book Parlament-Stückchen (1989), in which he collected anecdotes from the everyday life of parliamentarians in Bonn .

The husband and father of two daughters died on September 5, 2011 in Oldenburg.
