Egon Scoz (born June 7, 1951 in Innsbruck ; † October 19, 2002 ibid), also Egone, was an Austrian painter and graphic artist .

Life

Egon Scoz was self-taught , he rejected conformism and saw himself most likely as a "painter of rock 'n' roll " (in the sense of a way of life). He was a member of the Tyrolean Art Association and the Graz Authors' Assembly and winner of the City of Innsbruck Painting Prize in 1994.

Scoz's broad oeuvre includes drawings, paintings, film, collages and photographs, as well as art in public spaces.
