Ring of Honor of the State of Lower Austria

The Ring of Honor of the Province of Lower Austria is the highest honor awarded by the Province of Lower Austria . It is hierarchically located above the multi-level badge of honor for services to the federal state of Lower Austria .

Award

The ring has been awarded since 1952 and is usually presented personally by the Lower Austrian governor. In addition, a certificate with the state coat of arms, the name and the original signature of the governor is handed over.

In 1999, in a press release by the Lower Austrian provincial government , the ring of honor was described as "a rare award that has only been awarded 13 times in 47 years".
