Ernst Höger

Ernst Höger (born August 30, 1945 in St. Veit an der Triesting , Lower Austria ; † December 24, 2019 in St. Pölten ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

The trained toolmaker came into politics through the trade union movement. From 1978 to 1980 he was state secretary of the metal-mining-energy union . He was buried on January 15, 2020 in Berndorf.

Ernst Höger was from 1985 to 1998 SPÖ - state party chairman of Lower Austria, 1979-1980 Member of the Lower Austrian parliament , 1980-1999 National Council for municipal and residential nature and 1986-1999 Deputy Governor.
