Eichenberg is a district of the municipality Berkheim in the district of Biberach in Upper Swabia in the state in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

Eichenberg was first mentioned in 1182 as "Eichiberg" . The place is in the valley of the Rot , on the federal highway 312 . The Rottal is around 10 meters higher in Eichenberg than the lower terrace of the Illertal. The Austraße connects Eichenberg with the suburb of Zell an der Rot. The district road 7583, which connects the village with Berkheim , also runs through the municipality . In the immediate vicinity of Eichenberg are the other suburbs of Grabenmühle, mentioned in 1439 as Mühle zu Graben and the Schelleneigen farm (around 1430). Both the Ochsenhausen monastery and Rot an der Rot had property and rights in Eichenberg.

The red was straightened in the municipality in the years 1962 to 1969. The place is characterized by agriculture. In 1910 the dairy cooperative was founded in Berkheim . A little later, the Eichenberg milk producers' association was established in Eichenberg . The Berkheim volunteer fire brigade, founded in 1887, has a fire station in Eichenberg.
