Eiläintarhanajot in the early 1930s.

The Eiläintarhanajot ( Finnish ) or Djurgårdsloppet ( Swedish ) was a motorsport event that was held a total of 25 times in the Finnish capital Helsinki between 1932 and 1963 .

The 2 km long route was in Eläintarha / Djurgården ( zoo ) park , which gave the event its name.

The Eiläintarhanajot was primarily an important automobile race , but there were also motorcycle races on the program (except in 1946, when only motorcycle races were held). Roger Laurent and Susi-Olle Nygren managed to win both motorcycle and automobile races at the Eiläintarhanajot. The motorcycle races were part of the Finnish motorcycle championship and were also announced as international races.

There have been several accidents in the history of racing. Gunnar Wilhelm Söderholm (1947), Carl-Olof Tötterström (1953), Oiva Laasko and the journalist Viljo Turunen (both 1962) were killed in accidents. These accidents as well as the noise pollution ultimately led to the end of racing activities in Helsinki’s Eläntaha.
