A Summer in St. Tropez is a film by British photographer and director David Hamilton .
Seven good-looking "Lolita" women spend their holidays in and around a summer house near Saint-Tropez . They choose to dance naked through nature, rehearse ballet or play semi-erotic games together. The film does not have a plot in the true sense of the word.
After his previous film Erste Sehnsucht was only a moderate success, this film was produced directly for the video market . It was also the photographer's last film . A picture book accompanying the film has been published by Hamilton.
