Versions
In addition to a single CD, the album was also released as a digipak version in September 2008 . At the start of the tour in 2009 and on the occasion of the awarding of a gold record in Hamburg in 2008, a "Gold Edition" was published. Artur Schulz, who discussed the album for laut.de , pointed out that none of the fifteen songs had any real hit potential. For him, however, the album impresses with its structure: “In terms of density and intensity, the works are such a sparkling song treasure compendium that works best as a whole, complements one another, corresponds to one another and builds one another up . ”For him it has the quality of a concept album with“ snapshots of everyday little things and hidden intimacies of life ”. The texts are praised as being “precisely set” and “evocatively worked out”; Not only the long-time Jürgens lyricist Wolfgang Hofer, who is responsible for the majority of the lyrics, shows top form here, but also the other authors of the lyrics.

I was able to place myself in the top 10 of the album charts in Germany and Austria. In Austria it missed number one position and stayed in the charts for 13 weeks. For sales in Austria, Udo Jürgens was awarded a gold record on February 25, 2008, which he was awarded on September 5, 2011 in the Hamburg Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten .
