Eisenberger Mühltal

The Eisenberger Mühltal is a valley formed by the Rauda brook in the Thuringian Holzland in Thuringia . It extends over a length of about 12 kilometers from Weißenborn near Hermsdorf to Kursdorf near Eisenberg . The valley is embedded in a wooded area and today it is both a landscape protection and a local recreation area. The main hiking trail (a section of the Thuringia Trail ) stretches along the stream, where mills that have been converted into restaurants invite hikers:

Miniature park

On May 19, 2007 the miniature park was opened in Eisenberger Mühltal. The park at the Robertsmühle shows models of the mills from the Mühltal around 1900. The idea of ​​the miniature park originated in the association Ländliche Kerne eV about seven years earlier. The mill models were created in two years of work.
