The Rauda , in the upper reaches also Raudenbach , is a good 20 km long, left tributary of the White Elster in the Saale-Holzland-Kreis in Thuringia .

course

The Rauda rises northeast of Hermsdorf . Shortly after its source, it meanders through the Mühltal to the north, later to the east, and it remains true to this direction of flow up to the mouth. The mill valley is known for its numerous water mills, which were or are driven by the water of the Rauda. Now it flows via Rauda and Hartmannsdorf to Crossen , where it flows into the White Elster.
