Eianina (in Arbëresh : Purçilli) is an Italian fraction in the municipality of Frascineto in the province of Cosenza in Calabria and is one of the many historical Albanian settlements of the Arbëresh in southern Italy .

Elanina was founded in 1491 by Albanian refugees who came to Calabria in 1470.

  • On the second Sunday after Easter, the Vallet tradition (folkloric representation of one's own linguistic and cultural identity) renews the victory of the Albanian general and national hero Georg Kastrioti, known as Skanderbeg, over the Ottomans .
