Elaine Stewart , actually Elsy Steinberg (born May 31, 1930 in Montclair , New Jersey , † June 27, 2011 in Beverly Hills , California ), was an American film and television actress and at the beginning of her career a model .

Life

Elaine Stewart was born in 1930 to a police officer in Montclair, New Jersey. In 1952, the 1.69 m tall Stewart with the dimensions 86-63-91 won the title of "Miss See" by See Magazine and became known throughout America. In the following years she was featured as a model in many magazines such as Playboy and Photoplay .

With first minor supporting roles in the comedy film Seemann, watch out! with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis as well as the musical comedy You shall be my lucky star began her acting career in 1952.
