Elard Ostermann (born October 15, 1968 ) is a former German soccer player and coach.
Career
Ostermann played a total of 21 games for VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga season 1989/90 and scored one goal. In the following season he came only to six missions. In 1995/96 he played nine times for Hamburger SV . Later he went to the then Hamburg association league club SC Vorwärts-Wacker 04 , where he was both a player and a coach and looked after the C-youth. After the end of his active career, Ostermann took over the position of sporting director at Lüneburger SK and was also the coach of the first team and the A-Juniors.
In the middle of the 2007/08 season, Ostermann finally took over the coaching position at NTSV Strand 08 and immediately made the leap into the new Schleswig-Holstein league . But after the NTSV played a catastrophic first half of the season there, Ostermann announced his resignation. He then paused as a coach for two years and returned to the coaching bench in the summer of 2010, where he took over the post of head coach at FC Schönberg 95 . On August 31, 2011, he resigned as coach of FC Schönberg 95 and paused again. In the summer of 2012 he returned to the successor club of the Lüneburger SK, the Lüneburger SK Hansa , and once again acts as a trainer and sports director. In the 2013/14 season he won the championship title in the Lower Saxony Oberliga with LSK Hansa and thus rose directly to the Regionalliga Nord.
Since March 2016, Ostermann has also been active in the club as "Sports Director". It was also announced that he will also train the LSK Hansa in the 2016/17 season.
