Electroboy is a documentary by the Swiss director Marcel Gisler about the life of the Swiss Florian Burkhardt , who was active in the 1990s as a professional snowboarder , model, advertiser, author, party organizer and composer under the pseudonym of the same name and who has suffered from generalized anxiety disorder since 2005 suffers. The film was awarded the Zurich Film Prize in 2014 and the Swiss Film Prize in 2015.

The film was shot between April and July 2013 in Switzerland, Germany, India and the USA. It premiered at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2014 and was released in Swiss cinemas in November 2014. The cinema release in Germany and Austria was on November 26, 2015.
The feature film production was financed by the Federal Office of Culture, Swiss Television, the Zurich Film Foundation , the St. Gallen Film Foundation, suissimage and the UBS Culture Foundation.
