The trolley buses (trolley buses) of the type electron T19 ( Ukrainian Електрон Т19 , English Electron T19 ) are at since 2014 Elektrotrans in Lviv ( Ukraine built).

Elektrontrans was founded in Lviv in 2011 as a joint venture between the Ukrainian companies Elektron and Awtotechnoproekt and the German company TransTec Vetschau to manufacture city transport vehicles. In 2013, the prototype was tram - railcar electron T5L64 presented that since in the tram in Lviv is used. Together with another tram prototype , the shorter type T3L44 , the first trolleybus of the type T19 was presented in August 2014 . Initially only the subtype T19101 was built, from 2015 also the subtype T19102. The sub-types differ in the electrical equipment.

In 2015, Elektron put its first E-Bus prototype Е19101 into operation in Lviv. This electric bus has a range of up to 200 km. However, it should not exceed a speed of 70 km / h.

The first Elektron T19 was used in the trolleybus operation in Lviv from October 2014 with the road number 114.

The Elektron T19 is a completely low-floor trolleybus with three entrances. The body is made of stainless steel , the cladding is made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic . The driver's seat and passenger area are air-conditioned. The T19 can travel up to 3000 meters without overhead lines.

In December 2014, two more T19101s were built for trolleybus operations in Chmelnyzkyj ; they have been in use there since April 2015 with the company numbers 011 and 012. On both trolleybuses, the factory-installed regenerative brake was replaced by rheostats in June 2015 .

In 2015 three trolleybuses of the new subtype T19102 were delivered to Lviv. In 2016, another T19101 was added, followed by five T19102s later. Khmelnitsky did not procure any more electron T19.

A test deployment in Rivne was planned, but has not yet taken place.

Under the name "Elektron E19", Elektrontrans also offers a largely structurally identical electric bus for use without an overhead line. However, only one of these was built and has been in use in Lviv since 2016.
