Elfriede Gscheidlinger

Elfriede Gscheidlinger (born May 12, 1915 in Ort im Innkreis ; † November 14, 2013 in Braunau am Inn ) was an Austrian dialect author .

Life

In 1929 she made her first literary attempts in High German , after the Second World War she published poetry and prose in Innviertel dialect and also presented them at public appearances at readings in the Innviertel, took part in literary days and workshops in the Innviertel and in neighboring Bavaria, and was the first Anton Neuhäusler's wife was invited to a reading from her works by the Munich tower clerks. Her works also include shepherd games and a passion play .

She was a member of the Innviertler Künstlergilde , the Stelzhamer-Bund , the cultural community Der Kreis in Vienna and the Innviertler Kulturkreis.
