Elfriede Steurer
Elfriede Steurer (married Reichert; born December 9, 1924 ) is a former Austrian hurdler and sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, she reached the semi-finals over 80 m hurdles and was sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1950 she failed at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels over 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run. Even at the Olympic Games in 1952, she did not get past the first round over 100 m and over 80 m hurdles . In 1954 she reached the semi-finals at the European Championships in Bern over 80 m hurdles and was eliminated in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.
She was Austrian champion over 80 m hurdles six times (1943, 1946–1948, 1950, 1953, 1954), twice over 100 m (1948, 1952) and once over 200 m (1954).
