Elgar von Dalwigk

Elgar Hugo Heinrich Alfred Oskar Joseph Freiherr von Dalwigk zu Lichtenfels (born December 8, 1827 in Dombrowka an der Oder ; † September 20, 1873 ibid) was a German administrative officer. He was hereditary lord on Dombrowka near Opole and dike captain in the Opole district.

origin

His parents were Ludwig Wilhelm von Dalwig (* December 13, 1780 - August 19, 1847) and his second wife Karoline Anna Eleonore, born von Wilktowsky (* February 7, 1804, † March 7, 1854).

Life

After completing his studies, Dalwigk entered the Prussian civil service. The second Kreisdeputierter from Dombrowka he became the 1867 District Administrator of the district Opole appointed. He held the office until his death. He died of typhus on September 20, 1873 in Dombrowka.

From 1872 to 1873 Dalwigk sat as a member of the constituency Oppeln 2 (Oppeln) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He was a state elder and was a member of the Silesian Provincial Parliament.

On February 18, 1852, he married Countess Hedwig von Königsdorff (* April 10, 1832, † 1920) from the Lohe family and sister of Felix von Königsdorff . The couple had several children:
