Frank Lutz

Frank Lutz (born January 6, 1946 in Bremen ; † August 19, 2001 in Bremen) was a German lawyer and CDU politician .

biography

education and profession

Lutz attended high school and studied law at the University of Heidelberg . He received his doctorate as Dr. iuris utriusque ( Doctor of Both Rights ). After completing his military service, where he last served as a lieutenant in the reserve, from 1975 he held the office of manager of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for East Friesland and Papenburg . In 1980 he moved from Emden to Frankfurt am Main to the Federal Association of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers , where he served as general manager for three years. He then returned to his hometown of Bremen, where he worked as a lawyer and notary ( Dr. Lutz & Kollegen ).

Lutz was married and had one child.

politics

Lutz gained his first political experience during his studies: He was a member of the student parliament of Heidelberg University , where he held the position of spokesman for the Heidelberg Democratic Student Union.

He had been a member of the Bremen CDU since 1975. From 1983 to 1998 he was state chairman of the SME and Business Association in Bremen , after which he was an honorary member of MIT.

He worked for the CDU from 1991 to 2001 (†) in the 13th, 14th and 15th electoral periods for ten years as a member of the Bremen citizenship and in various deputations and committees (including legal committee, judges' committee, electoral review court).

Since 1957 he was a member of the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg .
