Eliška Staňková (born November 11, 1984 in Kraslice , ČSSR ) is a Czech athlete who specializes in discus throwing.

Sports career

Eliška Staňková gained her first experience at international championships in 2009 when she was eliminated from the qualification at the Summer Universiade in Belgrade with a width of 46.95 m. In 2012 she took part in the European Championships in Helsinki for the first time, but failed there with 55.22 m in qualification. Two years later, she reached the final at the European Championships in Zurich , where she finished tenth with a throw on 55.88 m. In 2016 she reached 14th place in the final with 55.90 m at the European Championships in Amsterdam and in 2018 she was at the European Championshipsin Berlin with 57.04 m twelfth. The following year she qualified for the World Championships in Doha , but did not reach the final there with 58.98 m .

In 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2020 Staňková became Czech champion in discus throw.
